YOUTH TEAM

The Youth Development Team is based in ETEC House. The team comprises of Gail Steadman (Senior Teaching and Learning Co-ordinator) and Chris Wilson (Employment Engagement Co-ordinator). We give personal and social support to learners who are on training programmes with ETEC.

Construction Routeway Tutors

The construction team are based in the trade centre within our ETEC House building.  Mark Steele and Steve Marley are the tutors who operate the programme and are both highly qualified and experienced Teaching and Learning Co-ordinators.  

Business & Administration and ICT

John Winter (Senior Teaching and Learning Co-ordinator) teaches, assesses and internally verifies business administration for apprentices, and customer service NVQ's for people on the Learndirect programme.  Alan Young (IT Co-ordinator) also teaches, assesses and internally verifies for business administration as well as all ICT programmes for apprentices, E2E learners, Learndirect and for the City of Sunderland 'First Steps' courses. They are both based at our Hudson House building.

Skills for Life

Lynsey Carragher is the Skills for Life Team Leader with support from Susan Cogdon who is also responsible for Key and Functional Skills, Sara Keen who also supports the Finance and Admin team and Linda Watt who works part-time with skills for life and part-time for PIE.  All four are based at Hudson House.
