ETEC is running its biggest community learning programme  in partnership with Sunderland City Council during autumn term 2009.

ETEC is offering a wide range of classes at both its ETEC and Hudson House premises from September to December 2009.

Topics covered include do-it-yourself and home improvement, basic information communication technology (ICT,) play work, community development work and reading and speaking aloud.

Courses range in length from four to eight weeks and are aimed at people, who live and work in Sunderland.

The courses aim to get the community back into learning.

Progression routes are available in most vocational areas.
