Playwork has been an important aspect of ETEC’s work for the past seven years.

Playwork started as Play Together in 2002.

Play Together has established a strong network of community and voluntary play organisations from across Sunderland.

ETEC delivers free training via a first steps course and an Introduction to Playwork course.  

The courses are free to people living and working in Sunderland.

Playwork also offers free NVQ Level 2s and subsidised NVQ level 3s to people involved in Playwork across the North East of England.

Additionally bespoke courses can be written to meet individual needs.
