Strengths:

- Provide support and information for assessors, inform us about changes and developments, help us to gain new skills needed.
- Possibly a standardisation of the contract
- Too many non related NVQ meetings to attend
- Allocation of time for assessing
- Updated training for assessment tools and equipment
- Dummy files to view of what is good practice and be able to show new candidates.
- Standardisation of CAR and CPER forms
- Examples of reflective journals/diaries and what to include so can start of learners with these at the beginning of the NVQ
- Include testing, peer support, dummy files and training needs as part of initial assessment for candidates.
- Professional Discussion training revisited.
- Include MAYTAS system and use of digital media as part of initial assessment and induction for all new learners/ candidates
- Packs of the electronic handouts from previous training sessions on the ETEC website
- 6 monthly practice and training of the MAYTAS system
