About us...
ETEC is a not-for-profit training and development company based in the East End of Sunderland, Tyne and Wear.
We offer a range of training and development services supported by a number of external agencies including the Learning and Skills Council, JobCentre-Plus, Neighbourhood Renewal Funding and the European Social Fund.
Our Mission Statement:
“Working with people as they liberate themselves from imposed poverty and inequality by providing the best education and training possible.”
ETEC has three sites in the East End: Hudson House, in Moor Terrace; ETEC House, in Coronation Street and the Lombard Street complex.
The company is split into two sectors – development (PIE, Toy Library, Play Together) and delivery, which runs a number of training contracts for youth and adult participants.
